The Role
We’re looking for a Client Partner to support and engage our existing client base over a 3-month contract period.
This role is focused on:
- Keeping client relationships active and well-supported
- Coordinating and progressing small-to-medium bodies of work
- Ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
You’ll work closely with clients and our internal team to keep work moving, maintain clear communication, and help identify opportunities for improvements where they naturally arise.
This is a hands-on, relationship and coordination role — not a sales position.
Engagement Details
- Part-time contract (2–3 days per week)
- Initial term: 3 months
- Potential to extend based on performance and business needs
- $350–$500 per day, depending on experience and capability
We’re open to candidates across a range of experience levels, provided you’re confident working directly with clients and able to see work through to completion.

Project Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate small-to-medium digital projects and updates
- Ensure work is progressing, feedback is gathered, and timelines are maintained
- Brief developers/designers clearly
- Keep clients updated throughout delivery
- Ensure work is completed and closed out cleanly
Opportunity Identification (Support-Led)
- Identify opportunities for improvements or additional work through client conversations
- Suggest practical next steps where appropriate
- Help define and progress small scopes of work
- Coordinate quoting and approvals
Workflow & Continuity
- Maintain visibility across multiple work items
- Ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Escalate more complex work where needed
About You
You don’t need to tick every box, but you should feel confident in most of the following:
- Experience working with clients in a digital, web, or agency environment
- Comfortable coordinating small-to-medium digital projects
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients
- Highly organised and proactive — you follow things through
- Able to manage multiple tasks and clients at once
- Comfortable working with developers/designers (no deep technical knowledge required)
Cultural Capability
Many of our clients are Aboriginal organisations and Indigenous business operators.
This role requires strong cultural awareness, respect, and the ability to engage with clients in a way that reflects NGNY’s values and relationships.
We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We also welcome candidates who bring demonstrated experience working with Indigenous communities or organisations, and who show genuine cultural capability and understanding.
As an Aboriginal-owned business, culturally safe and respectful engagement is central to how we work.
Why This Role Matters
This role plays a key part in:
- Maintaining strong, trusted client relationships
- Ensuring work is delivered smoothly and consistently
- Supporting our clients in an ongoing, responsive way
- Helping identify and progress meaningful improvements over time
Performance & Incentives
A light performance-based incentive may apply, linked to additional client work that is identified, scoped, and successfully delivered.
This is designed to recognise contribution — not to create a sales-driven role.
